Beautiful boats. Museum is in its infancy. Very worthwhile.
Great history of boating on the Finger Lakes. Always love looking at old wooden boats.
Nice place to see a little bit about boats and the different types of materials used. Very interesting how they were made from back in the 1900's. The building used to housed wine..
Fact filled fascinating!!
While Keuka seems to have a winery every 10 miles apart, back in the day there were boat builders every 10 miles apart on the Lakes!
Excellent experience in wood boat building. A must see for boaters.
Wonderful history of Finger Lakes boating! It was the main method of transport before trains, planes, and automobiles! And, to realize that the Lakes were connected to each other before the Erie Canal, was a mind boggler! Beautifully restored and original built boats. Sooooo glad I came!! My Dad, now 90, was visibly moved to see a restored number 130 "K" sailboat built by the Dundee based Wright's. Dad's was number 128 or so.
